here I stand
circumnavigating the holy shrine
that is relationship
chanting the mantra
there is no love but love
and every time
my mind wanders from this
it starts to weave a fascinating story
of this that or the other
with gossamer threads
of longing, separation or fear
until over my shoulder
I hear the Beloved laughing
and I drop the cloak
of suffering
and spiral
deeper and deeper
into the always waiting arms
of love

 

Anything other than LOVE is fear
